| It’s been an incredible and productive year for us at CINEMAROSA. As the new year comes to a full start, we’d like to wish you the best, and hope that all your gayest hopes and dreams may come true in the months that follow. A recap of last year’s CINEMAROSA’s highlights:

| This month’s program is a collection of shorts from India, Brazil, Norway and the United States. The short films treat and relate stories about friendship, love, bullying, and romance of young man who are coming to terms with their own sexuality, and who are trying to understand the world they live in. The program includes; “Secrets,” directed by J. Warden, about a group of young man who explore their desires through a deck of cards; “Kali Ma,” directed by S. Chainani, about a mother’s revenge when her gay son is the victim of a vicious attack; “You, Me and Him,” directed by D. Ribeiro, is the story of a young couple who must confront the challenges of raising a child; “Benny’s Gym,” directed by Lisa Marie Gamlem, a story about bullying and friendship; “Flatmates,” directed by Magnus Mork, a film about falling in love for the wrong guy; and “Yeah No Definitely,” directed by Dave Snyder, about a platonic relationship, and what happens when grief and passion collide. | |
